Australia’s hottest up and coming bodyboarder, Tom Rigby, re-signs with Mike Stewart Science.
The dominant winner of the Riptide Readers “Best Grom” and labelled the “Boy Wonder” by Movement Magazine, Tom’s on a rapid ascent in the world of bodyboarding. “For his age he's perhaps the most sophisticated rider, [both on land and in the water] that I've known. Tom is already among the very elite in the sport of bodyboarding and is surely destined for great things,” said nine-times World Champion Mike Stewart, from Science headquarters in Hawaii.
"I've been riding for Science for the past 3 years, and in that time, with strong support from Mike, Lisa and the whole Science team I've gained a lot of experience and knowledge which has been a big part of my development as a bodyboarder. Mike's a great teacher and his technical knowledge, creativity and passion is really inspiring.

Behind the scenes we've been dialing in his new “RIG” board series. As both Tom's stature and ability have grown, his custom board template has been modified to assist with Tom's progression and help him take his riding to the next level. Keeping true to the principles of RTI (Real Time Innovation), the changes to Tom's custom boards will be applied to Tom's new "RIG" signature board line that will be available this spring. Besides boards we are also collaborating on a number of other new projects that will be released in the months to come.
